metamorphosis

          Over the last three months my little brother Aaron has developed into a very enjoyable baby. His attitude is very fun to be around. He is still bipolar but when he likes me he is the best bro ever. In my past blogs Ive talked about his habits. And by observing I have found the motives for his contentment and causes for his unhappiness.  The main reason my brother will get happy is playing. That could mean just toy cars, kicking a ball outside, or riding the mechanical vehicles at a store. He also has a genuine love for balloons. Causes for his sadness are discipline, and thats about it. He is very sensitive when it comes to getting corrected.
          His personality was predicted by most of the family at the beginning of his life. We could tell that he would be a rowdy kid. He is exactly that. Even with his very young age there is no controlling him once he gets going. Its odd because my mother says my big brother and I were nothing like this. There is a difference in fathers but could that be it?
          With this blog coming to an end the observations will stop, but my brother will still be himself.It was nice to get to know him deeper than just being around him. One can really get to know the person better if we study them like this project has made me do.
          My little brother's habits include jumping on couches, kicking a basketball, acting asleep, and standing in dangerous spots. He turns 2 in April but his personality is ahead of his time. Now that this blog project is done my brother has changed little by little over the past months like a bug in metamorphosis.

nonidentical

          Lately my brother has been throwing up more than usual. I am wondering why this is. It's odd because we haven't changed his diet. He has been eating a lot more though. It could be because he is growing and that requires nutrients that his body asks for. I have also noticed whenever he eats peanut butter and jelly sandwiches he gets red on his face. My mother and I have found out  he is allergic to PB&J sandwiches so now my mom gives him jelly sandwiches.

          My brother is a savage when it comes to eating. He eats everything big or small. The reason my brother eats so much and asks for more is because my aunt, his baby sitter, makes the best food in the planet. I believe my aunt makes him very delicious and tasty meals for him to eat. This has caused him to have a love for foods. Although he eats a lot, he isn't a huge baby. He is very short but is chubby everywhere on his body. He has a cousin around his age but his cousin is longer and thinner. This observation led me to believe my brother is not the correct size. Not just his cousin but I also saw my little cousin in LA the same age and he is thin as well. Not that its a bad thing my brother is chubby its just interesting to know he is different than other babies.
          Aaron has started to enjoy watching a new show. Actually it's his first favorite show. He loves watching spongebob. I can leave him on the couch with spongebob on and he won't cry or call me he will just sit there and watch. I found this observation interesting because that was also my favorite show when I was younger. Maybe it runs in the family.......

Troublesome

            My brother has gotten more aggressive since my last post. There could be many reasons for this. I do not know why though. It could be that he just enjoys playing that way, it could be that he saw something to provoke his fighting play style, or maybe he just doesn't like little girls. Lately my mother has been getting a lot of complaints from my aunt which is his baby sitter that he is fighting with his cousin which is a three year old girl. My brother is apparently pulling her hair and hitting her with closed fists. Its because my brother saw me play fighting and he picked it up real quick. He started punching me like that and laughing. But little did I know that he would use these techniques when he was upset with his cousin.
            This aggressive behavior has also brought trouble to the daycare in the gym. My mother goes to the gym often and she leaves him with the daycare. Last week my mother told me when she went to pick him up he was all alone sitting in a chair because he was in time out. So this means its not just beef with his cousin its with all the kids. I don't feel worried about it because he is not even two yet so he will learn the right way to behave eventually.

Homies

My baby brother has made a new friend. Even though his new friend don't like him back Aaron still loves him. His new friend is my dog Jimmy. Jimmy is a six year old lab mix. He still has good energy but for some reason  my little brother always kills his vibe. For example whenever my brother goes to pet him Jimmy just leaves the area. I believe this is because when Aaron was younger he would pull his ears and step on him on purpose. But once we told him that was not right he stopped. I guess Jimmy still doesn't trust him. I'm hoping Jimmy can start to be nicer to my brother because my brother really likes being with him.

crybaby

The other day I told him "hey, NO" because he likes to play with the tv. Then all of a sudden he begins to cry as if he was really is hurt. From these daily observations I have learned that my baby bro is a crybaby. But I don't judge him because the word crybaby is talking about babies. From these observations I have also learned he is very polite when we are in public. Whenever anybody passes by he tells them "hi". Also he waves while he says it. This has caused him to make a lot of acquaintances. Since he says hi to everyone at the gym, we came across a lady that claimed to know him and me and my mother didn't even know her. Another observation I have made is that he enjoys putting on hats that don't belong to him. At the store for example I took him to the polo area and he put on a hat and kept it on.

My brothers little life

          For English Ap we are required to observe something or a place so we can blog about it. I chose to observe my baby brother. I have noticed that other babies his age are just chilling all the time. But I feel like mine is never calm. He is a very interesting baby so I decided it would be fun to see his daily habits and record them. He is 1.5 years old. He is at an age where he is learning his manners still. Every day though he struggles to keep his manners good. So these observations should be interesting to see how he acts at different times. It is convenient for me to observe my brother which is why I chose him since I am with him everyday. It will be good a good way to learn my brother more than what I already know. This will allow me to understand him better and be able to know more of why he does what he does.
          My brother is new to my family. He was conceived on april 14.
